Tourist Visa

If you want to visit Algeria for a holiday or to travel, you will need an Algerian Visa. Visa First can apply for this tourist visa for you in just 2 weeks and it will be valid for either 30 or 90 days.

Required documents

Holiday visa:

• 2 duly completed, dated and signed application form
• 2 recent passport sized photographs to be affixed on each application form
• Original passport valid for at lest 6 months PLUS 2 sets of copies of all the pages (even the blank ones)
• Original and copy of the accommodation certificate duly certified by the local authorities (Town Hall) in Algeria (Certificat d'hebergement legalisé par l'A.P.C.) including the name of the person inviting you, their relationship to you and the address where you will be staying during your visit to Algeria OR
• when applicable, a confirmation of a hotel booking OR
• an official invitation with itinerary from a travel agency in Algeria
• Letter of Employment or Evidence of Activity
• Pre-paid, self-addressed special delivery envelope
• Travel insurance for nationals from the following countries:
  • Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, F.Y.R. of Macedonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands (The), New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland

Business visa:

• 2 duly completed, dated and signed application forms
• 2 recent passport sized photographs to be affixed on each application form
• Original passport valid for at lest 6 months PLUS 2 sets of copies of all the pages (even the blank ones). Those holding more than one passport – please provide them
• Letter of the employer in the UK or Ireland stating the position held by the applicant and the purpose of the visit
• Original letter of invitation from the sponsoring company or institution in Algeria
• Pre-paid, self-addressed special delivery envelope
• Travel insurance for nationals from the following countries:
  • Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, F.Y.R. of Macedonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands (The), New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland
