Tourist and
Business Visas

Anyone wishing to visit the Republic of Congo aka Congo-Brazzaville for business or travel will need a Congo Visa. Visa First can organise either a Congo Business Visa or a Congo Tourist Visa for you - depending on the nature of your trip.

To apply for your Congo Tourist Visa we will need:

• Original passport, valid for at least 3 months beyond intended stay in Congo with at least 1 blank visa page
• Completed and signed visa application form
• Recent passport size photo, taken in the last 6 months
• Copy of confirmed hotel reservation, issued directly from the hotel

      or

• Lodging Certificate (Certificat d’ Herbergement) provided by relatives or friends in Congo-Brazzaville and authorised by City Hall or the Immigration Authorities
• An onward & return ticket to the country of residence or to the UK or confirmed travel itinerary
• Copy of recent Bank Statement showing proof of sufficient funds
• Copy of up-to-date Yellow Fever Certificate
• Proof of up-to-date vaccinations against Cholera, Tetanus - Malaria prevails
• Your visa processing fee /li>
• Pre-paid, self-addressed, special delivery envelope

To apply for your Congo Business Visa we will need:

• Original passport, valid for at least 3 months beyond intended stay in Congo with at least 1 blank visa page
• Completed and signed visa application form
• Recent passport size photo, taken in the last 6 months
• An onward & return ticket to the country of residence or to the UK or confirmed travel itinerary
• Letter from current employer which must:
  • be addressed to the Embassy
  • be on company headed paper
  • include the name, the nationality and the passport number of the applicant
  • specify the job title and the purpose of the trip
  • specify the requested number of entries and the length of stay
  • include the full address and the name of the organisation(s) to be visited
  • include acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant
  • state the employer’s full responsibilities of the employee, including repatriation in case of emergency
  • be signed by applicant's supervisor or the company's HR Department
• Letter of invitation from the host company (copy is acceptable), which must:
  • include the full address and contact details of the host company
  • include the name, the nationality and the passport number of the invited visitor
  • specify the purpose and the duration of the stay
  • include acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant
  • be signed by the host
• Copy of up-to-date Yellow Fever Certificate
• Proof of up-to-date vaccinations against Cholera, Tetanus - Malaria prevails
• Your visa processing fee
