listed here you may obtain a single-entry visa upon arrival at Jordan’s airports and borders - EXCEPT at the King Hussein Bridge (Allenby Bridge) crossing where a pre-approval from Jordan’s Ministry of Interior is required.

The following documents are required to apply for single entry, double entry or multiple entry visas:
Holiday visa
- Original passport, valid for at least 6 months
- Completed and signed visa application form
- One recent passport sized photo
- A personal letter from the applicant addressed to the Embassy of Jordan, explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel, cities to be visited, and place of accommodation
- Pre-paid, self addressed, special delivery envelope
Business visa
- Original passport, valid for at least 6 months
- Completed and signed visa application form
- One recent passport sized photo
- Business letter from the host company in Jordan explaining the purpose of the trip, dates of travel and guaranteeing sufficient funds
- Pre-paid, self addressed, special delivery envelope
Application fees: From Ireland: 2-Month Single Entry visa – 90€
3-Month Double Entry visa – 110€
6-Month Multiple Entry visa – 225€
* In case of absence of the Consul in Dublin, applications are sent to London and additional fee of EUR 60 applies.

How long is the visa valid for? The visa is valid for 2, 3 or 6 months from issue date depending on the visa type
What is the allowed stay per entry? The allowed stay is 2 weeks from date of arrival which can be easily extended by visiting the local police station
What is the processing time? The processing time in Ireland is 2 working days.*
The processing time in UK is 1 week.
