Holiday and Business Visa

You may apply for the tourist visa on arrival. In this case you will to have with you two recent passport-sized photographs and US $20.

Tourist visas:

1. Original passport, valid for a minimum of 6 months + photocopy
2. 2 Completed in BLOCK CAPITALS in either blue or black ink and signed application forms
3. One recent, passport-sized (45mm x 35mm) colour photograph. This should be attached to the form by paper-clip or another non-permanent means; DO NOT STAPLE THE PHOTOGRAPH TO THE APPLICATION FORM. Please write your name on the back of the photograph in BLOCK CAPITALS
4. Copy of return ticket
5. If you are a student, your application should be accompanied by a letter from your school, college or university or your letter of invitation from an Ethiopian referee if applicable.

Business visas:

1. Original passport, valid for a minimum of 6 months + photocopy

4. A signed letter on headed paper from the sponsoring organisation or company, stating the nature of the visit and the work that will be conducted
5. Pre-paid, self-addressed, special delivery envelope

3-Month Multiple Entry visa - £65 / €75

Business Visa Application Fee
1-Month Single Entry visa - £60/€60
3-Month Multiple Entry visa - £65/€85


Visa validity – 1, 3 or 6 months from issue date, depending on the type of the visa applied for
